WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We are a company that moves around the world, so it is difficult to define a place on the map.
Sara is from Spain, but she currently resides in Australia. Although, she is constantly on the move visiting the factories and suppliers through Asia.
In-person work is not necessary to hire our services, we work with clients from all over the world, and if a large project requires it, we can travel to the country of origin of the brand.

We specialize in commercial design for Ladieswear, Kidswear , Menswear and accessories including:

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE & WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS?
Since each brand has different needs, and introductory interview is necessary in order to understand which services are convenient for each project, we create tailored packs adapted to the needs and budget of each client.
In any case, if you hire individual services, our prices are:
- For services such as design, consulting, sample assistance, our rate is $160 AUD - 100€ per hour.
- For technical sheets our rate is $320 AUD - 200€ per garment, price. There are reduced prices for several garments.
- For manufacturing management, the price is calculated individually depending on the type of product, materials and quantities.
WHAT IS THE LEAD TIME FOR DESIGN, SOURCING, SAMPLING AND PRODUCTION?
• Design Brief, Range Plan, Preparing for Techpacks: 2-4 weeks
• Tech Packs: 1-2 weeks
• Sourcing Suppliers or Fabric/Trims: 1-2 weeks (If required)
• Sampling: 30-90 days (depending on the number of samples required, number of sample rounds, and country of manufacturing)
• Production & QC: 1-4 months (depending on country of manufacture, time of year and customizations)
I ONLY NEED ASSISTANCE WITH A SPECIFIC AREA, CAN YOU STILL HELP?
Yes you can! We will customise your service proposal or budget depending on the extent of support you need from us. It’s a flexible and transparent discussion around which areas of expertise you need and how we can achieve your goals as a team.
Our services packs can be customized to align with your business needs and requirements. Before creating a tailored proposal, we will request you to specify the areas where you need support. Based on this information, we will create a suggested plan.
We also offer project-based services for specific areas such as tech packs, sampling reports, and fashion branding.
I HAVE A BIG PROJECT, DO YOU WORK WITH DAY RATES?
If you have a big project and you need different services, we will value our services as a daily rate.

I HAVE MY OWN SUPPLIERS & FACTORIES, CAN YOU STILL ASSIST WITH PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT?
Yes, we can work with client-supplied factories as long as the factory knows who to communicate with and for what purpose. We are usually appointed as the designer or production manager for the brand depending on the service the client signed on with us for.
We can help you manage the flow of materials from your suppliers and factories, oversee production quality, and manage timelines and deadlines to ensure that your projects are completed on time. Additionally, we can assist with tracking costs, managing critical paths, garment fitting and other ad hoc tasks. We do not pass on your supplier details or use them as a part of our supplier base.
DO YOU OFFER DIRECT CONNECTION TO YOUR TRUSTED FACTORIES?
Yes, we do. However, this offering is exclusively available for clients with an established brand or industry background. The one-time connect package includes a referral to our trusted factories, along with a minimum number of retainer hours if required. If you are a new brand this ensures that you receive continued guidance from our team of experts and successfully navigate the entire process with our extended supplier family.
WHERE ARE YOUR MANUFACTURERS LOCATED?
We work mainly with factories located in China, India and Indonesia, although we also have some trusted contacts in Spain, Portugal and Turkey.
In any case and if the project requires it, we can manage manufacturing in another country and personally move to manage its development to the factory.
HAVE YOU VISITED YOUR FACTORIES?
Yes, we have! We have a small but humble supplier network that we have built over the last 9 years and we can proudly say we have visited each of the factory facilities including their key partners for printing, fabrics, trims, and embellishments.
ARE YOUR FACTORIES AND SUPPLIERS ETHICAL?
Yes, our manufacturers and suppliers undergo an intensive vetting process to ensure they adhere to ethical and sustainable practices. We ensure that working conditions, schedules and salaries are fair, as well as the safety and a stabilized minimum age.
At Samples System we work for the labor integration of women in countries or areas where they do not have rights, providing knowledge and economic freedom.
HOW CAN I GET A QUOTATION FOR MANUFACTURING?

WHAT ARE THE PRODUCT MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITIES?
Our MOQ (minimum order quantity) start at:
• 30-50 pcs per style/colour for ladieswear/menswear swimwear/kidswear in Indonesia/Bali
• 30-150 pcs per style/colour for ladieswear/men/swim/active in China/India
• 100-200 pcs per style/colour for fully fashioned knits and embroidered garments in China/India
The minimum bulk order accepted is 200-500pcs in total. Our MOQs can be negotiable depending on fabrications, manufacturing location and the customisation required across your collection.
WHAT IS A TECHNICAL PACK AND WHY DO I NEED ONE?
A tech pack is a document that serves as a blueprint of your product and contains all the details needed to explain the design to a manufacturer. This vital communication tool ensures that the garments are made accurately down to the very last detail.
A tech pack helps with accurate price quotations, is used to monitor and improve the fit, and serves as the basis for quality control.
CAN I START MANUFACTURING WITH YOU WITHOUT HAVING TECHNICAL PACK?
If you do not want to hire the technical sheet service, you will only be able to work with us if you have an existing physical example of the garments you want to take to production.
Working through photographs is possible but not recommended, since it is certain that the garments will require more samples, taking more time and being more expensive.
